DESCRIPTION:Healthy Kids Challenge (HKC), a Kansas-based nonprofit organization, is helping to make it possible for healthier eating and physical activity choices, as well as showing the fun of reading, everywhere children live, learn work and play!  The grant, funded by United Methodist Health Ministry Fund and help from Healthy Kids Challenge, Reading- Smart Eating – Moving…Balance My Day, is designed for Kansas libraries who offer programs for preschoolers and early elementary children and their families.  Not only does it provide for fun, interactive edutainment, centered around reading, healthy eating, physical activity and less screen time it allows for you to pick and choose from ideas that will work best for your library and your programs.
